Your pod will be available after 4pm if you need to arrive earlier or leave your car then please let us know and we will try and accommodate
Check out is by 10am however if you plan to spend the day walking and want to leave your car please let us know and we can try and accommodate.
One car parking space is allocated per pod however if you want to bring another vehicle then please let us know and we can try and accommodate.
Unfortunately, due to us being a working fell farm and having working dogs at the farm we can not allow dogs (or any other animals/pets of any kind) on site or to be left in any vehicles.

We do not accept stag or hen parties , however two pods can be booked together for families for exclusive use
You can park within a few minutes of them and then there is an elevated slope around 30 meters from parking to pod.
Sorry, no. The log burners are Charnwood Aire 3 Eco wood burners so only seasoned wood purchased from ourselves on the farm can be used.
Chapel Stile village is less then 5 minutes by car or 10 when walking, it has local cafe, Church & Village shop selling essentials
There is one in Grasmere which is 10 minutes by car or one in Ambleside which is around 15 minutes
Yes there is a daily frequent bus service which runs past the farm and has routes covering the whole of the Lake District.
As we are a working family farm we request a noise cut off by 10.30pm and no heavy drinking as we want to maintain a pleasant relaxed atmosphere for all.
No, there is a strict no smoking and vaping policy within the pods.
There are hooks and boot boxes on the porches of all pods
Not in the pods, but we can arrange for on-site storage. Please let us know before your visit.
The pod can accommodate 2 adults comfortably, and upto 2 small children on the sofa bed. We would not recommend a single pod for 2 adults & 2 teenagers for example, it’ll be a very tight squeeze!
On average someone who stays with us for 4 nights and warms the hottub each night generally uses about 3 bags and someone who stays with us for 3 nights normally uses two bags. It takes one bag to heat the hottub for first use and then a few logs thereafter to bring it back to temperature also long as the thermo lid is put back on the tub each night.
Yes, in adverse weather conditions, a strong storm or where there is a shortage of water.
Yes, subject to prior agreement with Harry Place - but absolutely NO pets/dogs/animals of any kind on site or left in vehicles.
