Directions from the M6

Exit the M6 motorway at Junction 36 and follow the A591 to Ambleside.

As you approach Ambleside follow the A593 and signs to Langdale and Coniston.

Continue through Clappersgate until you arrive at Skelwith Bridge Hotel, then bear right onto the B5343 towards Chapel Stile.

Head through Chapel Stile and soon you'll begin to see the Great Langdale Valley.

Continue on the B5343, past the Langdale Boulders (climbing stones, on your left), through a narrow section (although most of the lane is narrow).

Harry Place Farm is located on the right through a gateway - please bear right into the farm yard.
