Lake District Glamping : Bowfell

Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway or a family staycation, our Bowfell timber glamping pod offers the perfect rural retreat, providing you with your own little piece of paradise - along with a luxurious wood-fired hot tub too!

Named after the magnificent fells they look out on, our glamping pods feature everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay in the heart of stunningly glorious Lake District.

Our luxury pods have been handcrafted in oak on site by a local carpenter and are designed to "bring the outside in." Panoramic glass doors make the most of the spectacular views and Velux skylights allow for some serious stargazing. For extra comfort and cosiness, there's a log burner (wood can be pre-ordered at time of booking) as well as underfloor heating.

Compact and bijou, the pods are fitted out and equipped to the highest standard, so you will want for nothing. Each pod has a luxury double bed, sofa bed, ensuite bathroom shower, WC, washbasin and towel rail, crisp white linen, towels, electric two ring hob, fridge, kettle, toaster, crockery, cooking utensils and cutlery. There is also an outdoor boot box with coat hooks and a picnic table for al fresco dining.

The pod can accommodate 2 adults comfortably, and upto 2 small children on the sofa bed. We would not recommend a single pod for 2 adults & 2 teenagers for example, it’ll be a very tight squeeze!

Please note there is no Wifi access on site & we are a working farm so there will be animals around, Cockerels crowing, Sheep bleating and dogs barking to name but a few.
