Great Langdale Glamping at Harry Place Farm.

We very much enjoyed our 3 night stay at the beginning of August. A friendly, welcoming greeting and amazing pod with everything you need for a comfortable stay. They have gone above and beyond with the finishing touches, with an added welcome box as an extra too! The location was ideal - stunning views, great walks, easy to drive to nearby ‘tourist attractions’ and an overall peaceful, farm ‘staycation’ to enjoy after a busy day out and about. Our hosts were second to none and we would like to say thank you for opening up your idyllic farm location for others to enjoy!

We have just returned from a 4 night stay booking both Pavey Ark and Bowfell for our family of 5. We had high expectations having followed the page on Facebook in recent months and we were not disappointed. The pods were spotlessly clean and comfy with amazing views across the valley. This will be our first choice accommodation when visiting the lakes in the future and we hope to visit again soon. Thank you.

We have just arrived home from a three night break at Great Langdale Glamping. We could not have wished for a better weekend. Nicola and Jon could not have made us more welcome Their three children, Harrison, Loughlin and Bella are adorable too. The pods are incredible and of such a high standard with everything you could need. There was a lovely welcome pack with snacks as well and tea, coffee and sugar. The bed is extremely comfortable and everything is spotless. We used the bbq every night and last night we lit the fire pit after dark, just gorgeous. It is so peaceful and relaxing and the views are to die for. Nicola and Jon gave us lots of tips for some amazing walks and places to visit. We couldn’t fit them all in so cannot wait to go back and do lots more. We loved observing farm life and meeting this wonderful family who were happy to answer any questions we had. The perfect balance between ensuring a great stay without being intrusive. Thank you for everything. 10/10. See you next time

Absolutely stunning pods and the views are spectacular. Brand new and quality throughout. Everything you could possibly need is provided and the outside seating, firepit and BBQ area is perfect. The owners are so lovely. They brought up a lamb for the kids to pet and their kids played with ours so we could relax after a day in the fells. 100% recommended. We will be back.

Wow ! Fantastic base for the Langdale valley, we really felt immersed in the area, fantastic views, very peaceful and quiet, and great walks right outside the door along the valley and up into the hills. Everything we needed and more was catered for inside the pods and such lovely warm hospitality ! We will be back !
